A stretch of meadow dominates the south, playing host to a wide array of flowers. On windy days, this region looks like oceans of grass.

Jagged cliffs rise above the meadows, casting their shadows a fair distance into the region. Caves dot the base, making great dens for the region's inhabitants.

Two massive iron doors, open to the elements, are set into the massive cliffs in the south. Intended to shelter humans from the initial strikes, its plans did not cover radiation or extended stays. Occasionally, the generator kicks on, bathing the depths in light, only to die down moments later.

Composed solely of pine trees, Shadow Forest remains in an eternal semidarkness. Its many streams are fed by the lake in the west, causing the ground to be covered in mossy rocks and boulders.
